Therapist and Counseling Trainings

Svagito has trained hundreds of people around the world in the art of working with people.

Working with People

Svagito has trained hundreds of people around the world in the art of working with people. In his trainings the focus is not only the in-depth study of a particular method, but one also learns about a therapeutic attitude that supports clients to move beyond mind.

The ‘Working with People’ training program consists of 6 modules of 5 days each, where participants learn principles of working with people from a space of meditative presence. Specific skills are being taught that are essential for anyone wishing to work with people in different fields, whether as facilitator of Family Constellation or in other therapeutic areas, whether as social worker or in other helping professions. We develop the understanding that real help is effortless and without intention, and it connects a person to a deeper truth within himself, which leads out of the identification with mind into a state of relaxation and alertness. While using western methods of psychotherapy this training is based in Osho’s vision of spiritual transformation. We learn how to support such transformation in ourselves and in others.

Module 1: Presence and Mindfulness

Meditative presence is a state of embodied alertness that is the basis of anyone wishing to work with people, because only in such a state real healing becomes possible. In this module we practise to find presence in ourselves and learn to recognize and support those moments in the interaction with a client. This implies understanding the mechanism of mind, desires, projections and how conditioned beliefs and ideals create filters that take us away from the present moment reality.
In our practise sessions we use communication skills that support self-awareness and learn to distinguish spontaneous action that arises out of presence from goal-oriented action that arises out of desire.
When there is no goal and no doing in the ordinary sense a session giver functions as a catalytic agent for helping a client to come out of dreams and desires into a state of presence, where problems are not solved but dissolve.

Module 2: Love and Relationship

Experiencing authentic love is the basis of all healing. Because of past conditioning our so- called love is often mixed with demands or we unconsciously try to rescue someone from suffering. This ‘bonding love’ lacks the quality of restfulness and respect for the other and has its origin in unresolved bonds to our parents.
In this course we learn to stay more connected to ourselves when we relate to others and how to overcome old patterns. Using a Gestalt model we explore the relationship to our parents and to love partners and learn how such relationships can flow more harmoniously. We unlearn wrong beliefs about love and reconnect to its essential meaning and in this way allow ourselves to grow in love.

As our approach will not be technique-oriented, participants will be able to apply their new skills and insights to a wide range of different sessions and situations where they are in a position of helping people. We practise session giving under supervision and develop compassion towards a client that comes out of an empty heart.
Our work is based in the understanding that relationship is not the goal of life, but a lesson to learn about the true meaning of love.

Module 3: Inner Man – Inner Woman

Based on the insights from module 2 about how relationships work we look now at the relationship between our inner man and woman.
Through various meditations and guided exercises we discover how our inner male and female side relate with each other, who is dominant and takes too much space and which side tends to withdraw. We explore their unique nature and what would help each of them to find their authentic expression in our life. Ideally, both have space to express themselves, and in this way, they can find their own fulfilment. Unhappiness or frustration usually arise if one side is not being heard or seen and we often project this onto our love partners. Once our inner relationship reaches more balance, our relating to others simultaneously becomes more harmonious.
We find inner satisfaction when we learn to listen and follow the impulses of our authentic nature and this will eventually allow us to find a work and a creative expression that we enjoy.
The gained insights will allow us to work with a client in a way that nourishes his being and individuality rather than support his dreams, desires and ambitions that are part of his personality. We will also crystallise and dissolve personal problems around life issues such as relationship, work and meditation.

Module 4: Body and Emotions (Pulsation)

In this module we learn to release physical, emotional and psychological tensions caused by early life conditioning. We include insights from the approaches of Reich, Lowen and Kelly, who worked through the body and the emotions to bring more vitality, joy and sensitivity to a person’s life.
We use deep breathing, dance, touch, sound, grounding and other exercises designed for each specific part of the body. There will be continuous session ex-change and we learn through our own experience about energy flow, the orgasm formula of charge and dis-charge and the segmental structure of our body.
To understand the language of the body and how to support different emotional expressions while at the same time remaining in a space of watchfulness is essential for anyone, who wants to work with people in any field of therapy.

Module 5: Healing Trauma

This module is focused on learning to understand what trauma is and how unresolved trauma states can affect our body and mind throughout our entire life. By first recognizing such states and their underlying causes in ourselves and in others, we can then develop an understanding what serves healing.
Trauma originates from an experience where a person’s ability to respond to a potentially life threating situation is overwhelmed and as a result he enters into a state of freeze or dissociation and sometimes also develops symptoms of post-traumatic stress. In trauma healing we learn how this frozen survival energy can slowly and gradually be discharged without creating any overstimulation or excessive fear.
During the course we study the principles of how body and mind can be supported to overcome the effects of trauma and avoid common mistakes that do not support healing and can potentially lead to further dis-integration. We work in a resource-oriented way to help the nervous system to come back to its natural state of self-regulation and during partner exercises we practise specific techniques and strategies that support body and mind to return from freeze, dissociation and overactivation. In this way the energy of trauma can be integrated and become part of our strength. Successful trauma resolution is one of the doorways to higher consciousness.

Module 6: Vision and Creativity

In this module we explore the true meaning of creativity, how to stay connected to our inner passion and vision while at the same time learning to let go of personal ideas and mental concepts. We use exercises from the field of art therapy and apply our insights to our work with people.

Authentic creative expression includes certain elements such as
– connection to body and heart
– mindfulness
– readiness to explore the unknown and leaving routine behaviour
– total involvement without holding back
– readiness to drop personal identity and let go into a greater reality
– openness to being disturbed
– playfulness and a non-serious attitude

While working with different methods and exercises our focus will be to explore, what brings us authentic joy and takes us out of an old routine. By coming out from our comfort zone, we can discover our spontaneity and authenticity in self-expression. We can then experiment with new and fresh ways of session giving that takes us beyond limiting styles and concepts.
There will be also a chance for supervised session or group leading practise.

Whether you are creating something…….. – all that has to be remembered is that it is coming out of a silence within you, that it has a spontaneity. It is not pre-arranged, pre-programmed, pre-thought.

Counseling Skills and Relationship Dynamics Training
(Level 1 and 2 of 7 days each)

This training outlines the principles of therapy that is based in meditation. It gives therapists and those in the helping professions – or those who plan to work there – a chance to enhance their skills and broaden their approach. In Osho’s vision, we use therapy to clear the ground for moving more deeply into meditation. This helps us break out of identification with the mind into a state of relaxation and alertness.

On a training level, participants will learn how to respond to the needs of the client’s inner being and to distinguish between individuality and personality. The art of session-giving consists not only in understanding the root of a problem, but also in knowing how to balance confronting a person’s defenses with nourishing his essence. When this is achieved, insights from a session can be integrated easily and the therapist becomes more of a friend than a guide.
As there will be a continuous exchange of sessions under supervision, participants will also have the opportunity to crystallise and dissolve personal problems around life issues such as relationship, work and meditation.

Even though we will teach certain techniques, like Gestalt work, our approach will not be technique-oriented. Therefore, everyone will be able to apply his new skills and insights to a wide range of different sessions and situations wherever he or she is in a position of helping people. Real transformation and healing happen not because of our technical knowledge, but as a consequence of our ability to remain in a state of loving presence.

We will cover the following topics:
• Communication skills that support self-awareness
• Finding presence in oneself and supporting such states in a client
• How and when to encourage emotional expression
• Recognizing and working with projection, resistance and desire
• Estimating what could transpire during a session
• Responding to different clients with flexibility
• Understanding the dynamics of relationship and the principles of healthy relating
• Working with and balancing the polarity between inner-man and inner-woman

In the second level of the training we focus on discovering the true nature of our inner male and female energy and what would help our inner man and woman to find their authentic expression in work, and in life in general. As therapist we need to be able to bring both male and female qualities to our work with a client.

This training is for people who already work with people in some way or have sufficient previous therapy experience.

Osho Therapist Training
A Two Year Process of Inner Transformation in Various Modules

Svagito and staff

International Training

This extensive program teaches all the basic skills for working with people from a space of meditation. At the same time it offers a profound, personal transformation on the level of body, emotions and mind, and dissolves life-long patterns of conditioning.
In the OSHO approach healing is understood as a result of awareness and love. The supportive atmosphere of the therapy group allows relaxation and a letting-go of tensions in body and mind. In meditation we become aware of the witnessing consciousness beyond mind that enables us to disidentify with deep-rooted behaviour patterns.
The program includes 50 training days and various trainings that are complete in themselves (58 training days including the optional module). Additional teaching, supervision and sharing sessions for OTT participants are given by Svagito, who overviews the Training. You can choose to participate for professional training, for personal transformation, or both. You can also choose to participate in the various modules in a different order and in different locations. However, it is recommended to start either with the Family Constellation or the Pulsation module.
Certification as an Osho Therapist is given upon completion of all modules and after completing 4 supervision sessions per year.

Training units:
• Family Constellation Training Level 1 + 2
• Family Constellation and Trauma Healing Training (Level 3)

Pulsation: Neo-Reichian Breath and Energywork

7 day Training Course

Through a lifetime of repressive conditioning in our families and our societies we have learned to control and deny our real feelings and cut off from our bodies and from our life energy.
Pulsation has its roots in the techniques of Wilhelm Reich, which were meant to loosen physical, emotional, and psychological blocks caused by early life-conditioning. In this course we learn to express our feelings rather than fight with old tensions; allowing them to melt through acceptance and awareness. We rediscover the polarity between activity and resting – the natural ‘pulsation’ of our energy.
We work with Neo-Reichian breathing, grounding exercises, eye release, sound, touch, dance, and with various meditations, to unlock deep energies that originate in the belly, the emotional energy of the inner child, and the sexual energy of man and woman. As we start more and more to ‘pulsate’ with this life-energy and melt into it, our old fears and contractions begin to disappear without any effort. Aliveness, joy, ecstasy and creativity are our birthright.
Our study includes Osho´s vision of the ´bodymind´, Reichian theory about the segmental structure of the body, the physiology of energy flow, and the effects of trauma.
This is also the first part of a training program for those who want to study Pulsation and want to learn to work with it. Participants will exchange guided individual sessions designed for specific parts of the body.

My approach is: experience what energy is. You are energy, so you can go with the energy wherever it goes in deep trust. Then the whole of life becomes orgasmic.
